Pureclean™ Launched as the First Cleaning Cloth with the Hygienic Advantage of Enhanced Microfiber

Villa Rica, Georgia. Intex DIY, Inc., the largest supplier of wiping rags and towels to the US retail market, headquartered in Villa Rica, Georgia, announces the launch of a new generation of multi-purpose wiping towels that are the first to combine bulk and softness like cotton terry towels, with the hygienic cleaning efficacy of enhanced microfiber. The new towels are being marketed under the brand name pureclean™ and will be introduced in select markets across the United States in home improvement stores beginning in May 2018.Pureclean

Pureclean was created in a joint product development partnership between Intex and Tietex International, a leading stitch-bonded fabric manufacturer located in Spartanburg, South Carolina. According to Robert Dailey III, CEO of Intex, “pureclean is the first wiping product that bridges the gap between traditional cotton terry towels and microfiber towels, both of which are manufactured primarily overseas and imported into this country.” Pureclean is constructed, converted, and packaged 100% in the USA in EPA registered facilities. According to Dailey, “independent laboratory tests indicate pureclean, when used with simple water alone, removes 99.9% of pathogens dead or alive from surfaces, including Norovirus, Listeria, E. Coli, MRSA and Salmonella. Pureclean sets a new standard of cleaning that ordinary terry towels cannot match.”

Wade Wallace, President and COO of Tietex, said “the proprietary technology behind pureclean was developed by our team of product engineers and is protected under a number of US patents and other process trade secrets. Pureclean was engineered for durability, unmatched whiteness and superior wiping performance in wet or dry applications of all types and are machine washable for continued re-use. We are excited to have an exclusive relationship with Intex to convert, merchandise, and supply the US retail market with this revolutionary wiping tool.”

Dailey added, “designed with unique looped and grooved pile dual surfaces, one for drying and cleaning, and a second for scrubbing and polishing; pureclean towels clean better and they clean safer. They are simply the most versatile wiping cloths ever.”

  1. Are theses designed for repeated use? And if so, how should they be washed? They are the best cleaning towels I have ever used!

    1. Thank you for the reply Sarah. Yes, these are designed for multiple uses. You may wash them just like you would any other whites. Hot water and bleach are just fine. However, we recommended not using fabric softeners or dryer sheets as they affect the efficacy of the cloths. You may witness some furling of the cloths after washing and drying, but that is normal. You can expect to get 3 to 4 washes out of them before discarding. – Eric
